MN GIS/LIS Conference Entertainment

Social Hour

On Monday night, please join use in the Keller Bar in the lower level of the Red Carpet, a bar located on 5th Avenue South very near the Civic Center. We will have the entire level reserved for our conference attendees. Come on over to see some old friends and make some new ones. A pool table and several dartboards are available, and we will have some games and prizes of our own as well. Whether your just getting into town for the start of the conference itself, or you are wrapping up a day of workshops, stop by the Red Carpets Keller Bar for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.

Beer Tasting Gathering

This year's tasting will be sponsored by Summit Brewing of St. Paul, Schell's Brewing of New Ulm, and O'Hara's Brew Pub & Restaurant of St. Cloud. Summit and Schell's will be donating a variety of beer covering the range of the high quality beer styles they produce. Styles will include Pale Ale, India Pale Ale, Oktoberfest, Porter, Bock, Pilsener, Summit Grand and Schell's Firebrick.

Please join us for what has become an annual tradition at the Conference, the GIS/LIS Beer Tasting Event. This year, the event will be conveniently located within the Saint Cloud Civic Center. As always, the Boreal Brewers Club of Bemidji is kind enough to sponsor this event by providing the fruit of their labors to be sampled by those present. In addition, samples from commercial breweries will be provided as available. Home brewers are strongly encouraged to bring their own fermented beverages to share with others, but all pouring will be done by a designated GIS/LIS tasting host. Light refreshments will also be available. Tickets for this event cost $10 with any proceeds over the cost of the event going directly to the GIS/LIS Consortium. You must be at least 21 years of age to attend this event and identification will be checked at the door.

Registration: Please complete this registration form and mail or fax to the address or number indicated. Full payment or purchase order must accompany your registration form and be postmarked by September 27 to be pre-registered.
