Mid-West ESRI Utility Users Group 2007 Was Held in Bemidji

The second annual Mid-West ESRI Utility Users Group meeting was held at the Beltrami Electric Cooperative (BEC) in Bemidji on March 28 and 29. Presenters included:

Forty-eight participants came from North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin – 98% of them were involved in electric utilities.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform staff from regional utility companies how GIS is being used to map and analyze utility-related information within some companies. In addition, GIS representatives from various other agencies also informed participants about the various types of GIS data available to them either through partnerships, free or for a fee.
