FOSS4G North America and the Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium are collaborating on spring workshops and will be offering a great variety of topics including many focused on open source technologies. Workshops will be held on Tuesday, May 21st, the day before the FOSS4G conference at the University of Minnesota Hubert H. Humphrey Center.

We are excited to be able to offer 16 workshops this year covering various topics. The workshop list and descriptions can be found here. The workshops are $75 per AM/PM workshop or $150 for a full day workshop.

Registration will be open until May 3, 2013. On-site registration will also be available the day of the workshops.


Morning Workshops
7:30–9:00 a.m. Morning check-in/registration/refreshments
9:00 a.m. Morning workshops begin
10:30–11:00 a.m. Morning break (30 minutes)
12:15 p.m. Morning workshops adjourn
12:15–1:15 p.m. Lunch/Afternoon Workshop check-in (lunch provided if requested during registration)
 
Afternoon Workshops

This FREE event is open to all GIS students and professionals and will be held at Town Hall Brewery in Minneapolis. Come join your fellow colleagues for an opportunity to share ideas and learn more about what others are doing to elevate geospatial initiatives in their respective disciplines. You do not need to register for a workshop to attend this networking event.
