As an exhibitor, you play an integral part in the success of our annual Minnesota GIS/LIS Conference and we welcome your participation in our 2016 event. We have made some changes to the exhibit area layout to improve your conference experience. Exhibitors will have exposure to a large gathering of GIS leaders, practitioners and project managers in the geospatial technology community.

Exhibitor Benefits

  • Two conference registrations – with seated lunch on Thursday, October27 and Friday, October 28.
  • Vendor reception – with scholarship raffle, scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday in the exhibit area (ticket holders must be present to win). We encourage exhibitors to participate in the scholarship raffle by donating a raffle item that encourages attendees to visit your booth.
  • Vendor technology demonstration area (Sold out)– will be available to vendors in 30-minute time slots located in the exhibit area during breaks and reception times. Please indicate your interest on the registration form. You will be contacted for more information.
  • Product demonstrations – enable exhibitors to showcase their products in a presentation format as part of the regular conference schedule. Please see the Call for Presentations for more information. Exhibitor abstracts will be accepted until June 30. Submit your Product Demonstration HERE.
  • Maximum exposure – from improved exhibitor area layout.
  • Exhibitor recognition including vendor names and a brief summary are included in the conference materials and dynamically linked from the MN GIS/LIS Consortium’s website.
  • Sponsorship and advertising opportunities – vendors will have the opportunity to sponsor aspects of the conference, including student attendees and the Geolounge, and to advertise in the onsite program.
  • Exhibitor amenities – include internet access, an exhibit booth (piped and draped 8’ x10’), one 8’ draped table and two chairs.

  • Providers of desktop CAD/GIS applications or services, asset management, spatial data solutions or larger format printing
  • Providers of GPS and mobile devices, mobile mapping solutions, application development or enterprise geospatial solutions
  • Academic institutions which offer coursework and degrees in survey and geospatial disciplines


Onsite Program Advertising (Past Deadline)

MN GIS/LIS offers an opportunity for Vendors to get exclusive visibility within the Fall Conference Onsite Program by purchasing advertising space.

Free Website Advertising

Purchase your Exhibitor Booth by June 30, 2016 to:

  • Receive a free scrolling add on the GIS/LIS website from July 1 – December 31, 2016
    • Exhibitor must acknowledge Website Advertisement Agreement and its Terms and Conditions

Sponsorship Opportunities

Back by popular demand is the opportunity to sponsor others in the GIS/LIS community and receive additional advertising opportunities; including onsite signage, an onsite program advertisement and additional advertising methods outlined below. All limitations include the maximum sponsorship opportunities.

  • Student Registration: Sponsorship of 4 students includes a half page advertisement in the onsite program. All Student Sponsors will receive recognition at the vendor reception. For more information on this sponsorship, please contact $175, per student

  • Fun Run T-Shirts (limit 4): Sponsorship includes the display of a company logo on the runners’ shirts $150

  • Refreshment Break (limit 3): Sponsorship includes naming rights in the onsite program and onsite signage: $500
  • Geolounge (limit 3): A Geolounge sponsorship is available each day which includes naming rights in the onsite program, onsite signage and a half page advertisement in the onsite program: $650

  • Wednesday Networking Event Sponsor (limit 2):  Sponsorship includes naming rights in the onsite program and onsite signage: $500 

  • Thursday Networking Event Sponsor (limit 2):  Sponsorship includes naming rights in the onsite program and onsite signage: $650

Cancellation Policy

With written cancellation notice received before September 1, 2016, you will receive a refund, less a $100 administrative charge.
