2018 MnGIS/LIS Conference;Bridging Boundaries

The poster submission period is now closed.

The Sessions Committee is still accepting abstracts for Student Poster presentations and will select presentations to represent levels of expertise and a broad topic base. Selection will be based on the value of the proposed topic to the audience and the quality and clarity of the abstract.

With the 2018 theme of "Bridging Boundaries," the Consortium is particularly interested in presentations highlighting the topics below (however, any topic is welcomed):


Suggested Topics:

  • Web, Mobile, and Story Maps
  • Open Data and Open Source
  • Remote Sensing and Drones
  • GIS Program and Data Management
  • Programming and Development
  • Environment (Natural Resources, etc.)
  • Transportation, Utilities, and Infrastructure
  • Accessibility and Usability
  • Education
  • GIS Leadership and Management

 

Presentation Types:

  • Poster Display
  • Display area: 4 ft (height) x 8 ft (width)
  • Project-specific and cartographic exhibits welcome

Abstract submission:

  • Abstracts cannot exceed 300 words
  • Incomplete abstracts will not be accepted
  • Abstract submission is online only
