"The GIS/LIS conference is a great way to get in touch with the Midwest GIS community. In a single weekend I learned what's hot in the industry right now, who's working on what, and met many potential employers or partners to contact for internships or jobs. I have no doubt that attending the GIS/LIS conference gave me a leg up on my GIS career.” - Chris Anderson, UMD Graduate 2013. Conference Attendee: 2010-2012

"The GIS students should take advantage of the older mentors. We know the students are smarter than us.... but they do not know we are wiser than them. To be quite honest, we cherish watching the students succeed, and hopefully someday, they will pay it forward."- Keith Anderson, LOGIS Systems Analyst/Developer . Mn GIS/LIS Conference Attendee many of it's 23 years!
